Wood Fresh Hardwood Cleaner is designed to be used as a neutralizing rinse in an extraction machine designed for wood following the use of the Heavy Duty Hardwood Cleaner in the extraction cleaning system. This cleaner is also used in our abrasion cleaning system with the rotary floor machine and maroon pad to remove the surface soil and the embedded dirt. It will also remove scuff marks and other imperfections. Mix one part Wood Cleaner with 4 parts water in a spray bottle and apply to the floor before scrubbing. It also removes residue during the rinsing phases. It is the ideal cleaner to prepare the floor for the application of the Hardwood Preservation Finish CW032GL Gloss or CW033GL Satin. Wood Fresh Hardwood Cleaner is also the ideal cleaner for daily maintenance of the floor. It can be used by the home owner to clean wood floors as often as needed.
Heavy Duty Hardwood Cleaner is designed to only be used with the extraction cleaning system in an extraction machine designed for wood. It is an aggressive cleaner that should not be used as a prespray. It must be neutralized by a follow-up extraction with Hydro-Force Wood Fresh Hardwood Cleaner. Its purpose is to thoroughly clean the surface finish of the hardwood floor, but also prepares the base finish temporarily to assist the bonding of the preservation finish to the existing finish.
Hardwood Preservation Finish (Gloss or Satin) is designed to be used as a preservation finish over an existing urethane finish over a hardwood floor. It is a low solid blend of urethane and acrylic so that it can be easily applied over a urethane finish after a thorough cleaning and a properly prepared base finish. The base finish can be prepared by the extraction or abrasive cleaning method. This preservation finish serves as the wear coat and protects the original finish of the floor. Apply the finish immediately after the extraction cleaning system is finished. A second coat of finish is optional for the extraction cleaning system. Apply the finish about an hour after the abrasion cleaning system is completed. The abrasion cleaning system leaves the hardwood floor damp making it necessary a dry time of about an hour. A second coat of finish is necessary for the abrasion cleaning system.
To apply, use terry cloth covers and a finish applicator. Once a floor has dried naturally for approximately 45 minutes, a second coat of finish is then applied and also allowed to dry naturally. The end result is a clean, refinished and rejuvenated wood floor and a happy customer.
